The delivery of FREE MINDFULNESS COURSES to those in need is the driving force for setting up the Urban Mindfulness Foundation.

We proudly provide Free Mindfulness Courses For Groups in need.

We offer Free 8 Week Mindfulness Based Living Courses (MBLC) that are funded by the Mindfulness Associations – “Everyone Project” and your donations.

These Free mindfulness courses are available to any group that would benefit from Mindfulness Training but would not normally be able to access the training due to the cost of the course or other circumstances.

If you are a Charity, Youth Group or Community Support Organisation and believe you have a group of people who would benefit from mindfulness training please contact us to see if you are eligible for a free or concessionary programme.

Free Mindfulness Course Eligibility

All you need to apply for a Free Mindfulness Course is a venue to deliver the course and a group of 10 to 20 people who may be unemployed, on benefits, low income or otherwise supported.

Eligible groups may include but are not limited to:

Care leaver Organisations, Youth Groups, Refugee Support Organisations, Homeless Organisations, Long term unemployed support organisations, Those recovering from substance abuse and Rehabilitation Centres, Mental health Organisations, Unpaid Carers and Child Carer Organisations, Respite Centres, Disability Organisations and many more.

It will be important that the group or organisation can provide a suitable venue for the course to be delivered and be able to recruit, promote and support the delivering of the programme to the Organisations service users. Participants will need to be willing to commit to attending all 8 sessions as far as is reasonable and complete the course research and evaluation questionnaires at the start and end of the programme.

If you have a group or organisation who you believe would benefit from mindfulness training but would not normally be able to afford it, we really want to hear from you.

This is the reason our Organisation exists and we really want to hear from any support groups who would like to deliver mindfulness to there service users. Please complete the online application form below now or email us at unity@urbanmindfulnessfoundation.co.uk
